What is Space Base:
is a Space Base building simulation where Astroneer meets Surviving Mars.

Challenges:
Keeping a team motivated and productive, getting exposure at showcase events, and making sure the team has what they need to keep working.

Connect a power production buildings to an Excavator to pump resources from the ground. There are 4 different minerals in this game.

Monthly Showcases as a Cadence
For the first year, we treated monthly showcases as weight in what we should work on next, staying grounded and in touch with what matters for the player experience.

Space Base Demo

Working on Space Base has been a humbling and empowering exercise in team communication, organization, and expectations.

My Achievements: 
 

  • Founded a team during the post-pandemic layoffs

  • Improved familiarity Unreal Engine 5, soft and hard references, and Blueprint communication.

  • Improved on Team building and project development skills.
